After you decide you would like to lease an apartment at Menlo Townhouse Apt, you will need to send an email to either bunnie@jatkowski.com or menlomgr@menlousc.net. The date of your e-mail will be used to assign to you an apartment based on your position on the waiting list. Further, if you referred by a current or former tenant of Menlo you will need to refer to that person in your email. The reference will substantially advance your position as a prospective tenant.

Those of you with friends or contacts should ask for a viewing of the current tenants apartment. All of the apartments here at Menlo have the same floor plan the exception begin the amount of bedrooms.
No, you are not required to have a roommate, regardless of the size of the apartment. However, rent is a fixed rate that applies to the entire apartment, so whether you live with multi roommate or by yourself, you are collectively responsible for the entire amount.

Sorry, you may not cancel your lease after it has been signed. You can however, have someone take over your unit and pay rent if you decide to move out. Just remember that your name is still on the lease and you will continue to be held responsible for your unit and its rent. Also you will not receive your security deposit until after the term of the lease has been expired.
After we check your apartment and make sure there has been no significant damages and is reasonably clean, we will mail a check to the address you provide when you move out. Remember, the return of your security deposit is based entirely on the condition of your apartment when it is returned to Menlo management at the end of your lease.
Most of the apartments here at Menlo have refrigerators. Please check with management after being accepted as a tenant as to the status of the refrigerator for the apartment you have been assigned. A good rule of thumb would be to expect to purchase a refrigerator as some of those here at Menlo are starting to show their age!
